Welcome to the 2009 Harvest Journal! This is where I will frequently post thoughts and happenings as they unfold during our 11th harvest at Bergstrom Winery. Stay tuned! We are getting ready to begin our 11th harvest here at Bergstrom and it is gearing up to be a doozy. The crop is ripening at a furious pace and we have had to fine tune our crop yields again and again as the grapes just seem to get heavier and heavier. But we are on track for an early year with good ripeness. So far, 2009 reminds me of 2006. We’ll see what happens.
